Apostle Fortunatus of the Seventy — mentioned by Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians together with Stephanas and Achaicus as one of those who "supplied" for him the absence of the Corinthian community.
Apostle Fortunatus of the Seventy is mentioned by Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians: "I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such" (1 Corinthians 16:17-18). In the Russian Orthodox Church he has no separate feast day and is commemorated on January 4/17 in the Synaxis of the Seventy Apostles; in the Greek Church his memory is kept on June 15 together with the Apostles Achaicus and Stephanas.
