Apostle Patrobas of the Seventy — a co-worker of Apostle Paul, mentioned in the Epistle to the Romans (Romans 16:14); according to tradition, bishop in Puteoli (Italy).
Apostle Patrobas of the Seventy was a co-worker of Apostle Paul, mentioned in the Epistle to the Romans: "Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes..." (Romans 16:14). Patrobas was a faithful co-worker of the apostles in preaching the Gospel of Christ. According to tradition, he was bishop in Puteoli (Italy) and labored greatly for the spread of Christianity. His memory is kept on November 5/18 together with the Apostles of the Seventy Gaius, Linus, Philologus, and Hermas, as well as January 4/17 in the Synaxis of the Seventy Apostles.
