Venerable Elladius of the Caves, recluse and faster — labored in the 12th–13th centuries in the Near (Anthony's) Caves of the Kiev Caves Monastery; details of his life have not survived, and his relics rest in seclusion.
Venerable Elladius labored in the Near (Anthony's) Caves of the Kiev Caves Monastery, presumably in the 12th–13th centuries, bearing the feat of seclusion and strict fasting. No detailed information about his life has survived — it is known only that his incorrupt relics rest in seclusion in the Near Caves of the Lavra. His memory is kept on October 4, and also on September 28/October 11 within the Synaxis of the Fathers of the Near Caves, and on the 2nd Sunday of Great Lent within the Synaxis of All Venerable Fathers of the Kiev Caves.
