Synaxis of all the Saints Who Shone Forth in Cyprus — a joint commemoration of the apostles, martyrs, hierarchs, and ascetics of the island of Cyprus (including Apostles Barnabas and Mark, Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Helen, Hierarch Epiphanius of Cyprus, Hierarch Spyridon of Trimythous, and many others), established by the Church of Cyprus specifically to honor those locally venerated saints of the island whose individual lives or exact feast dates have not been preserved; kept on the first Sunday of October.
The Synaxis of All the Saints Who Shone Forth in Cyprus (Greek: Σύναξις πάντων τῶν ἐν Κύπρῳ διαλαμψάντων Ἁγίων) is a general celebration of the Church of Cyprus in honor of the saints of the island: apostles (Barnabas — a native of Cyprus and one of the Seventy Apostles, Mark the Evangelist), the Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Helen (venerated on the island in connection with the tradition of their founding the Stavrovouni Monastery), hierarchs (Epiphanius of Cyprus, Spyridon of Trimythous), the thirteen hieromartyrs of Kantara Monastery, and many other locally venerated ascetics and martyrs of various eras.
The Synaxis was established precisely because detailed lives or exact individual feast dates have not survived for many Cypriot saints — the general celebration is intended to fill this gap by uniting them all in a single service. It is kept on the first Sunday of October (a movable date).
