Hierarch Nicodemus, Archbishop of Serbia — a learned monk-writer of Hilandar Monastery, an uncompromising opponent of the Bogomil heresy, who translated the Jerusalem Typikon into Serbian.

Hierarch Nicodemus was a monk, and later abbot (1312–1316) of Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, elected Archbishop of Serbia in 1317 (some sources say 1316), and died in 1325. A learned monk-writer and theologian, he was an uncompromising opponent of the Bogomil heresy. As archbishop he translated the Jerusalem Typikon into Serbian and introduced commemorative dates for deceased Serbian rulers and archbishops into the synaxarion — a contribution that shaped Serbian liturgical practice for a long time.
His feast is kept on May 11/24.
