Venerable Wulfric (Wolfeius) of Holme (d. c. 1020) — an Anglo-Saxon hermit-monk who labored near Peterborough.
Venerable Wulfric, also known by the Latinized name Wolfeius, labored in the late 10th and early 11th centuries in the locality of Holme near Peterborough, England, leading a hermit's monastic life of strict fasting and prayer. Information about his life survives only in fragments, chiefly in local monastic traditions and the chronicles of Peterborough Abbey. Scholars identify him with the hermit whose cell later gave rise to veneration at that site. He died around 1020.
