St. Zachary of Lyon (d. c. 553) — Bishop of Lyon in the mid-6th century, participant in the Gallic church councils of the Merovingian era.
St. Zachary occupied the episcopal see of Lyon, Gaul, in the mid-6th century, during the reign of the Frankish Merovingian kings. He is known for his participation in the church councils of the period, convened to resolve canonical and disciplinary matters of the Gallic Church — his signature survives in the acts of one of the Councils of Orléans. No detailed information about his life and ministry beyond the conciliar acts has survived. He died around 553.
