The image shows him within a group of five Greek-inscribed "holy physicians" (Eutropius, Cosmas, Damian, Anthimus, Leontius) — apparently a different circle of veneration (unmercenary healers) than the group of Nicomedian martyrs associated with the better-known Hierarch Anthimus of Nicomedia (3 September). "Anthimus of Cilicia" may be a distinct, less well-known martyr included among the unmercenary physicians; further research is needed for precise attribution.
