Hierarch Anton of Chkondidi (Glonistavisdze) — Archbishop of Chkondidi in the Georgian Church and head of state executive power (chqondideli-mtsignobartukhutsesi) under King George III and Queen Tamar; upon the restoration of his office in 1190, he received the Samtavisi diocese and the village of Kisiskhevi from Queen Tamar.

Hierarch Anton of Chkondidi, also known by the family name Glonistavisdze, was Archbishop of Chkondidi in the Georgian Orthodox Church toward the end of the reign of King George III (1156–1184) and simultaneously held the supreme state office of chqondideli-mtsignobartukhutsesi (a kind of chief minister). After this office was restored in 1190, Holy Queen Tamar granted him the Samtavisi diocese and the village of Kisiskhevi. He is venerated together with his disciple, the hieromonk Jacob. His memory is kept on October 26/November 8.
