EDITORIAL NOTE: Orthodox calendars know the venerable (male) Anthony of the Kiev Caves (983–1073), founder of the Kiev Caves Lavra, commemorated July 10/23 and September 2/15 together with Venerable Theodosius. The feminine form "Antonia Pechersky" does not appear in any source — the card likely arose from an erroneous gender change during processing of the name "Anthony." The card's sole image is not an icon at all, but an old plan of the Roman catacombs labeled "CRYPTA Major ANTONIA," unrelated to any Orthodox saint.
