Synaxis of Belgian Saints — an iconographic composition (painted by Irina Gorbunova-Lomax, before 2007) uniting saints venerated in Orthodoxy who labored on the territory of modern Belgium during the era of the undivided Church (Amand of Maastricht, Gertrude of Nivelles, Gery of Cambrai, and others); no separate universal church feast day has been established for this synaxis.
The Synaxis of Belgian Saints is depicted on a modern icon by Irina Gorbunova-Lomax (painted before 2007), uniting images of saints of the era of the undivided Church (before 1054) who labored in the lands now part of Belgium — such as Hierarch Amand of Maastricht, Gery (Harius) of Cambrai, Venerable Gertrude of Nivelles, and other locally-venerated Western ascetics of that period. Unlike the Synaxis of Belarusian Saints, established by decision of the Russian Orthodox Church's hierarchy in 1984, no separate universal church feast day for the Belgian Saints was found in the sources checked — the veneration appears to be local or iconographic in nature, uniting individually long-venerated pre-schism saints, rather than constituting an officially established liturgical feast.
