Righteous "Cyril of Bulgaria"

Identity not confirmed — the card turned out to be a mixture of two entirely different people: the life dates (827-869) belong to St. Cyril, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Teacher of the Slavs, while the stored image is a photograph of Cyril (Markov), Patriarch of Bulgaria (1901-1971), a 20th-century hierarch not canonized by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.
Checking the card's image revealed a photograph with a handwritten signature "+ Cyril, Patriarch of Bulgaria" — this is Patriarch Cyril of Bulgaria (born Konstantin Markov Konstantinov, 1901-1971), who headed the Bulgarian Orthodox Church from 1953 to 1971. He has not been glorified as a saint by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Meanwhile, the life dates stored on the card (827-869) and its structured feast dates belong to an entirely different person — St. Cyril (Constantine) the Philosopher, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Teacher of the Slavs (see the separate card equal_apostle_cyril). The card "Cyril of Bulgaria" thus represents a contamination of two unrelated people, joined only by the coincidence of a first name and a Bulgarian theme. Pending a reliable source confirming the existence of a separate canonized saint under this name, the card is honestly marked as unconfirmed and hidden from the calendar.
