Righteous "Dmitry Krylov"

A check of the official Synaxis of New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, as well as specialized biographical databases of 20th-century Russian Orthodox clergy, found no information about a hieromartyr "Dmitry Krylov." Other individuals with different first names appear under the surname Krylov in lists of new martyrs — for example, the priest Vasily Krylov (1899-1938, commemorated June 18, shot at Butovo) and protopresbyter Nikolai Krylov (1875-1941). No known source confirms the existence of a separate hieromartyr specifically named Dmitry with the surname Krylov. Meanwhile, the 5 images stored on the card turned out to be a random assortment of entirely different and unrelated images: a military icon of Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica, twice an icon of Tsarevich Demetrius of Uglich with different captions, a commercial portrait of an unidentified hierarch watermarked antrasledie.ru, and a group icon of five unidentified saints — not one image pertains to the claimed "Dmitry Krylov." Given the absence of a reliable source confirming the existence of such a saint, the card is honestly marked as unconfirmed and hidden from the calendar.
