? — ок. 1262

Venerable Xenophon of Robeika (d. c. 1262) — founder of the Robeika Transfiguration Monastery near Novgorod.

Venerable Xenophon of Robeika labored in the 13th century in the Novgorod lands, where on the Robeika River near Novgorod he founded a monastery in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord, which became known as the Robeika (Xenophon's) Transfiguration Monastery. He gathered brethren around himself and introduced a strict cenobitic rule, earning respect and veneration in the region through his ascetic life. He died around 1262 and was buried at the monastery he had founded, which was later suppressed. His memory is celebrated twice a year — on June 28 (July 11) and January 26 (February 8).
